WESTERN KY
COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY, INC. is a Kentucky corporation
with its main office in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The original
franchise dates back to the year 1905. It is a wholly owned
subsidiary of C.C. Clark, Inc. In 1986 the Bowling Green and
Glasgow warehouses were consolidated into a new plant facility
off I-65 in Oakland, Kentucky just east of Bowling Green. In
1988 Western Kentucky Coca-Cola purchased Coca-Cola Bottling
Company of Russellville, Kentucky and Coca-Cola Bottling
Company of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and in 1990 it completed
the purchase of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Tell City,
Indiana. In 2004 Western Kentucky Coca-Cola purchased
Greensburg Bottling Company. In addition to the Oakland plant,
Western Kentucky operates a distribution center at the Fort
Campbell Army Base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, a distribution
center at Campbellsville, Kentucky, and a distribution center
in Tell City, Indiana. Western Kentucky Coca-Cola operates in
the Kentucky counties of Allen, Barren, Breckinridge, Butler,
Christian, Cumberland, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe,
Monroe, Simpson, Todd, Warren, Adair, Taylor, Marion,
Washington, Green, Russell, Casey, Nelson, Larue, and the
Kentucky side of the Fort Campbell Army Base. The Tell City
distribution center operates in the Indiana county of Perry.
The corporation has franchises with The Coca-Cola Company, Dr
Pepper Company, Evian Water, Big Red, Minute Maid Juices,
Double Cola, Fuze and Livingston Chocolate.
