CLARK DISTRIBUTING COMPANY
LOUISIANA, INC. was a Louisiana corporation headquartered in
Lafayette, Louisiana and distributed product in twenty
Louisiana parishes. Western Kentucky Coca-Cola owned 99.5% of
the outstanding stock with the remaining shares being owned by
W. Dal Clark, Jr., its president, and George P. Clark, its
former resident manager. In January 1986, Clark Distributing
Company Louisiana, Inc. purchased all the outstanding stock of
Quality Beverages, Inc. of Baton Rouge and continued to
operate a warehouse in Baton Rouge. In May 1989, Clark
Distributing Company Louisiana, Inc. purchased the rights to
Coors in Hammond and operated a branch warehouse there until
1995 when Baton Rouge and Hammond were consolidated into a new
facility in Baton Rouge. Prior to 2004, Clark Distributing
Company Louisiana, Inc., was known as Quality Brands, Inc. In
April 2005, Clark Distributing Company Louisiana, Inc. was
sold to Crescent Crown Distributing of New Orleans. |
